Peapack and Gladstone Incidents- Week of 6/12/17-6/18/17
Monday 6/12/17 5:18 PM - Police reported that they were dispatched to a Highland Avenue residence for a report of property damage. Officers were informed that a vehicle appeared to have crashed into a rock wall at the end of the driveway. Police checked the area, but there were no vehicles found.
Tuesday 6/13/17 8:02 AM - Officers were dispatched to a Mendham Rd residence for a report of a bat in the home. Police checked the room in which the bat was said to have been seen, but were unable to locate the mammal. Bernard’s Twp Animal Control also responded and could not find a bat in the residence.
Tuesday 6/13/17 7:18 PM - Police, along with the Peapack-Gladstone Fire Department, responded to St. Brigid’s Church for a report of a smoke condition. There was no sign of fire or smoke when police arrived. A search of the building and surrounding area was unable to determine were the smoke had come from.
Friday 6/16/17 8:16 PM - Police, Peapack-Gladstone Fire, and Peapack-Gladstone First Aid were dispatched to the area of Pottersville Rd and Hillcrest Ave for a report of the odor of natural gas in the area. A thorough check of the area was conducted, but there was no sign of a gas leak.
Saturday 6/17/17 2:17 AM - Police reported that they assisted Bedminster Twp Police Department with attempting to locate a possible intoxicated driver. Cpl. Owen Duff located the silver Honda on Holland Rd near Old Dutch Rd. As the vehicle approached him from the rear, Cpl. Duff activated his emergency lights. The vehicle pulled over behind him. A Bedminster patrol vehicle pulled behind the suspect’s vehicle. As Cpl. Duff exited his vehicle, the Honda drove off on Old Dutch Rd. Police again stopped the vehicle on Old Dutch Rd. Cpl. Duff assisted Bedminster Twp officers with the female driver as was needed.
Saturday 6/17/17 2:58 AM - Police and the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid Squad were dispatched to a Peapack residence for a report of a female experiencing abdominal pain. Cpl. Owen Duff monitored the victim until the arrival of the PG First Aid Squad. The female was transported to Morristown Medical Center for further observation.
Saturday 6/17/17 4:53 PM - Officers along with the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid Squad responded to a Peapack business for a elderly female who fainted. The victim was conscious and alert. She told officers that she felt that she may have had a seizure. The PG First Aid Squad arrived and assumed patient care. The female eventually refused further medical care.
Saturday 6/17/17 6:05 PM - Police, along with the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid Squad, were dispatched to a Peapack residence for a report of a female having difficulty breathing. Officers monitored the patient until the PG First Aid Squad arrived. The female was transported to Morristown Medical Center by the PG First Aid Squad.
