The Borough’s Department of Public Works is committed to providing outstanding service to the residents and businesses of Peapack & Gladstone. The department is proud of the excellent condition of the Borough’s roadway network and infrastructure. Overseen by the Superintendent and his assistant, Public Works provides a variety of services including the maintenance of public roads, Borough buildings, parks and recreation facilities, recycling and the maintenance of the Borough’s sewer infrastructure.

Seasonal and ongoing activities include:

• General road repairs, including snow and ice removal
• Supervision of curbside collection of trash and recyclables. Trash is collected by a Borough contractor and recyclables are collected by the County under contract to the Borough.
• Maintenance of the Borough’s police and DPW vehicles
• Administration of the leaf collection program
• Traffic sign maintenance and roadway striping
• Landscaping maintenance and minor repairs to Borough-owned facilities
• Stormwater management
