Peapack and Gladstone Library

The Peapack and Gladstone Library is a branch of the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey and offers borrowing privileges to all who live, work, own property or go to school in the borough. In addition to offering a collection of over 20,000 books, books on CD, video games (Switch, PS3, Xbox), DVDs, music CD’s, magazines, and newspapers; the Library offers access to over 30,000 downloadable books and magazines through our website: https://sclsnj.org/

Historically, in 1936 the library was transferred from the custody of the Rev. J.J. Harper of St. Luke’s Church to the Peapack and Gladstone Woman’s Club under whose able direction it prospered and grew until it became a branch of the County system in 1982. On March 15, 1983 the library was moved from its home by Liberty Park, which it had occupied since 1936, to the Municipal Complex.
