The Bernards Township Health Department in conjunction with Community Blood Services is sponsoring a Blood Drive on Wednesday, November 18th from 2pm to 7 pm. The Blood Drive will be held at the Bernards Township Community Center located at 289 S. Maple Avenue in Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.

Residents can register at http://cbsblood.org/donor/auth/signin , choose “Donate Now”, choose “Zip Code Search” and the Blood Drive at Bernards Township Community Center to schedule an appointment. Also, see the attached flyer for details. By setting up an account, you can access your blood type results after the drive.

In order to donate blood, participants must weigh 110 pounds or more and have a photo or signed identification. Participants must eat a meal and drink plenty of water prior to their donation. Donors over age 75 years must bring a doctor’s note stating they may give blood.
