The Borough of Peapack and Gladstone is accepting resumes for the position of Parks Laborer in the Department of Public Works. Responsibilities include but are not limited to manual labor, snow plowing, equipment operation in all weather conditions and some mandatory overtime. Performs park maintenance work such as mowing, trimming, weeding, irrigating, raking, fertilizing, shoveling, pruning trees, planting trees, planting shrubs and flowers, mulching flower beds, assists with playground equipment inspections and repairs. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be available for emergency situations that may arise 24/7. Applicants must possess a valid NJ Class B Commercial Driver’s license or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire. Background check will be performed as a condition of employment.
