ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – PEAPACK & GLADSTONE, Somerset County. The Borough of Peapack & Gladstone is seeking a full-time (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm) administrative assistant to support the Department of Public Works. Responsibilities include scheduling and organizing activities such as meetings, calendars, conferences and department activities. Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing system for the department, and retrieves information from files when needed. Answers phones for the department, takes messages or fields answers for all routine and non-routine aspects, as well as, organizes and prioritizes phone calls. Must have strong word, excel and outlook skills and familiarity with Edmunds finance software. High school diploma is required along with one year of administrative assistance experience.
