Go With the Flow to Relax

Looking for a healthy way to unwind? Freeholder Brian D. Levine invites anyone age 60 and above to join “Yoga with Jillian” on Tuesdays, Jan. 21, and 28, continuing Feb. 4, 11, 18, 25, through March 3, and 10. Classes will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Senior Wellness Center at Basking Ridge, located at 202 Mount Airy Road and 12:45 p.m. at the Warrenbrook Senior Center, located at 500 Warrenville Road, Warren. The cost is $40 for the eight-week session. The deadline to register is Jan. 16.

Learn how to release tension in the neck, shoulders and six areas of the spine through gentle-flow poses. Enjoy guided relaxation at the end of the class and leave feeling rested and refreshed. Poses can be practiced while either standing or sitting. This class is perfect for all levels of skill. Yoga mats are not required, but participants are urged to wear sneakers and loose-fitting clothing.
