Peapack and Gladstone Incidents- Week of 8/22-8/28
Monday 8/22/16 1:31 PM - Police reported a one car, driverless motor vehicle crash at a Lincroft Drive residence. A delivery vehicle parked at a residence rolled down the driveway and struck a tree. There were no injuries.
Tuesday 8/23/16 8:11 AM - Police reported that they responded to Main Street in the area of Holland Avenue for a report of a juvenile with a gun. The caller advised that the juvenile was standing near the street waiving the gun around. Police located the juvenile and determined the gun was a toy. The juvenile’s parent was contacted, responded to Police Headquarters, and took custody.
Tuesday 8/23/16 1:28 PM - Police reported that they responded with the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid & Rescue Squad to a work site of a Peapack business for a report of a worker who had cut himself. The 61 year old had a laceration to his arm, but was conscious and alert. Bleeding was being controlled. The victim was transported to RWJ-Somerset for further evaluation.
Wednesday 8/24/16 11:13 AM - Police reported that they responded, along with the Peapack and Gladstone First Aid & Rescue Squad, to Pfizer Inc. for a report of a 33 year old female experiencing abdominal pain. The victim was being cared for by Pfizer medical personnel. She was transported to RWJ-Somerset for further evaluation.
Thursday 8/25/16 11:52 AM - Police reported the arrest of a 33 year old male from Paterson. Cpl. Thomas Scanlon stopped a vehicle being operated by the person for a motor vehicle violation. It was deemed that the person’s driving privileges were revoked. Multiple charges are being sought against the individual.
Thursday 8/25/16 10:18 PM - Police reported they responded to a Pfizer Drive residence for a report of loud music. It was determined that the music was coming from a Chester Twp residence. Chester Twp Police Department was contacted and responded to request the music be turned down.
Thursday 8/25/16 10:30 PM - Police reported that they responded to a Peapack residence for a report of a burglar alarm. Using the thermal camera in the patrol vehicle, they witnessed individuals running from the front of the residence into a wooded area. Additional units were called to assist including a Warren Twp tracking K9. The K9 tracked the scent to an adjacent property where it is believed the individuals entered a vehicle and left the area. There were signs of an attempted forced entry to the residence. It appeared that the actors did not gain access to the home and nothing was reported missing.
Sunday 8/28/16 12:11 AM - Police reported that they stopped a motor vehicle on Rt. 206 at Pottersville Rd for a motor vehicle violation. The 32 year old driver from Milford, New Hampshire was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated. His vehicle was impounded and he was issued several motor vehicle summonses.
Sunday 8/28/16 4:29 PM - Police reported they responded to a Main Street residence for a report of loud music. The music was turned down to an acceptable level at the request of Police.
