Peapack and Gladstone Incidents- Week of 9/12-9/18

Monday 9/12/16 11:16 AM - Police reported a one car motor vehicle crash on Rt. 206 near Pottersville Rd. The vehicle was heading northbound when a deer attempted to cross the roadway in front of the vehicle. Minor damage to the vehicle was reported.

Tuesday 9/13/16 3:37 PM - Police reported a one car motor vehicle crash on Rt. 206 near Holland Rd. The vehicle was heading southbound when a deer attempted to cross the roadway in front of the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene and moderate damage to the vehicle was reported.

Wednesday 9/14/16 2:42 PM - Police reported that they responded to Highland Avenue for a report for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was described as a dark colored Volkswagen with NY license plates occupied by three males. One of the individuals reportedly exited the vehicle and knocked at the front door. A similar incident was reported on Willow Avenue on the same day. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

Wednesday 9/14/16 6:50 PM - Police reported a one car motor vehicle crash on Willow Ave near Branch Rd. The vehicle was heading westbound when a deer attempted to cross the roadway in front of the vehicle. Minor damage to the vehicle was reported.

Wednesday 9/14/16 10:12 PM - Police responded to a Tiger Hill address for a noise complaint. Upon arriving there was loud music being played. The homeowner apologized for the volume of the music and turned down the music.

Thursday 9/15/16 7:36 AM - Police reported that they located an open door at a Mendham Rd address. Patrol conducted a search of the residence and found no one on location. The door was secured and notification was made to the homeowner.

Thursday 9/15/16 8:44 AM - Police reported that along with the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid & Rescue Squad they responded to a Gladstone residence for a report of a woman with a high fever and altered level of consciousness. The female victim was transported to Morristown Medical Center by the PG First Aid Squad for further evaluation.

Thursday 9/15/16 9:03 AM - Police reported that they responded to Main Street near Holland Ave for a report of a two car motor vehicle crash. Police investigation determined that a passenger vehicle heading southbound crossed into the northbound lane into the path of a van. The vehicles collided which caused extensive damage to both vehicles. Main Street between Railroad Ave and Holland Ave was closed and traffic was detoured for a short period of time. One of the drivers was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Thursday 9/15/16 10:39 PM - Police reported that along with the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid & Rescue Squad they responded to a Peapack residence for a report of an elderly male experiencing difficulty breathing. The victim was monitored and transported to RWJ-Somerset for further evaluation.

Thursday 9/15/16 7:01 PM - Police responded to Liberty Park for a report of a dispute between two juveniles. It was determined that the dispute was over a bicycle. Both juveniles parents were contacted and the bicycle was returned to the owner.

Friday 9/16/16 3:07 PM - A juvenile came into Police Headquarters bleeding with scratches on his face and other parts of his body. He reportedly fell while exiting the bus a few minutes earlier. He was tended to by officers while the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid & Rescue Squad responded. The juvenile was left in the custody of the Rescue Squad when officers cleared for an unrelated call.

Friday 9/16/16 3:10 PM - Police responded to Rt. 206 in the area of Pottersville Rd for a report of a two car motor vehicle crash. The rear-end crash yielded in one of the vehicles being towed from the scene. There was moderate damage to both vehicles.

Sunday 9/18/16 12:54 PM - Police responded to a Gladstone address for a report of a theft of money. Several thousand dollars in cash was reportedly missing from a dresser in a bedroom of the residence. The money went missing overnight Saturday 9/17 into the morning of 9/18. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence.

Sunday 9/18/16 9:20 PM - Police along with the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid Squad responded to a Borough restaurant for a report of an individual experiencing a panic attack. Police monitored the victim until the First Aid Squad arrived and assumed patient care. The individual eventually refused transport to the hospital.
