Peapack and Gladstone Incidents - Week of 11/13/17-11/19/17

Monday 11/13/17 2:31 PM - Police received a report of a threat made to a resident. A 35 year old male who was threatened via an internet chat room. The resident was told by an unknown male that he was going to, “end his life.” Police are continuing to investigate the matter.

Monday 11/13/17 7:10 PM - Police, along with the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid Squad, responded to the Peapack Train Station for a report of a disoriented male. Officer located the male on the platform. He appeared to have missed his stop. The 59 year old, advised Police that he suffers from a disease similar to dementia. The PG First Aid Squad arrived and evaluated the patient. Within minutes his wife came to pick him up. The patient was turned over to her.

Tuesday 11/14/17 11:42 PM - A vehicle heading southbound on Rt. 206 near the American Legion sustained moderate damage when it struck a deer. The deer attempted to cross directly in front of the vehicle which was unable to stop. There were no injuries in persons in the vehicle.

Wednesday 11/15/17 10:12 PM - Police, along with the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid Squad, were dispatched to a Peapack restaurant for a report of an unconscious female. Officers arrived to find the victim who was slumped over at a table. Police conducted an assessment of the patient’s vitals. The PG First Aid Squad arrived and assumed patient care. She was transported to Morristown Medical Center by the PG First Aid Squad along with Medics from RWJB-Somerset.

Thursday 11/16/17 8:33 AM - A two vehicle, rear-end, crash was reported on Rt. 206 in the area of Holland Ave. A 33 year old Budd Lake woman failed to stop in time and struck a vehicle being operated by a 30 year old Barnegat resident. There was minor damage to both vehicles which were driven from the scene. No summonses were issued.

Friday 11/17/17 9:32 PM - Police and the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid Squad were dispatched to a Peapack restaurant for a report of a female possibly experiencing a stroke. Cpl. Owen Duff responded and received assistance from Far Hills PD. The victim was placed on oxygen and monitored until the arrival of the PG First Aid Squad. The patient was transported to Morristown Medical Center by the PG First Aid Squad, along with Medics from RWJB-Somerset, for further evaluation.
